During the practice for the World Snowboard Championships in Oslo, Norway I hurt my back.

I don’t want to go into detail on the verdict, but the day of halfpipe qualies I went to get an MRI and the doctors told me not to ride in Oslo. They wanted to look closer over the next few days to really figure out what was going on.

The week after World Champs, which was last week, I got the word I’m not gonna be back on a snowboard for 7 weeks.

It really blows, since I had a lot of cool things ahead of me.. First of I’m missing out on my favorite event, The Burton European Open in Laax, Switzerland, and that’s the event I look the most forward to every year.

I already miss all my friends in the snowboarding world, but I know they are out there having fun for me as well.

I will keep you posted on the rehab process. Right now, it is mellow with a chiropractor and gym at home.

On the bright side I get to spend time with my friends at home and my family. Feels weird being home this time of year. My birthday is coming up, so celebrating that at home will be cool. It has been so long since I did that. The last time I had my birthday at home I’m pretty sure it was a cake and bowling kinda deal.

I know I promised to be good at updating this page and I will from now on.

Right now I am posted up in Breckenridge, CO, once again. It has been an amazing week with good weather and my great friends Cilka Sadar and Kim Rune Hansen. We have had perfect days on the mountain, but it has been a bit of wind. Can’t complain though.

All of December I was also here in Breck with the Burton crew. We got a lot of riding in and a lot of good times on and off snow. We spent the entire time trying to find the Christmas spirit, but it didn’t come around until I got on the plane to fly back to Norway on December 19th.

I had a fabulous Christmas in the Norwegian mountains with my family and friends. Snowboarding, good food, great company and everything else that comes with Christmas. I also celebrated New Years Eve in the mountains which was incredible!

As most of you know they cancelled the halfpipe event at the O’neill Evolution and postponed Burton European Open, which gave me two weeks where I could do whatever I wanted. It has been really nice to have a January that is not packed with contests. I spent my two weeks at home and in the mountains, snowboarding and hanging out with the people I love.

Now we are just riding to get ready for our next events which are the Burton Canadian Open followed by World Snowboard Championships in Oslo, Norway.
After World Champs, Kjersti Buaas, Chanelle Sladics, myself and maybe one or two more riders are going to make something cool happen in and around Trondheim, which is mine and Kjersti’s hometown. Stay tuned for that! I don’t wanna say too much about that right now, but I can promise it will be a fun little edit dropping including some artsy shots!

We will all be uploading posts, photos and videos on everything from fashion, to health, to snowboarding and other random things you need to know about.

I will be posting mainly about fashion on and off snow, but also some of the other aspects of the snowboarding lifestyle.

I went to New York for the launch of the website and had a great night in the city with styling, Champagne
and friends. The Burton Girls that were there for the whole shebang were Kelly, Hannah, Gabi and myself including our Team Manager Susie.

It was an amazing event and I am really happy that Jake and Donna made it out there!

After a good 9 months of not having a home page, I am back.

I will be good at posting stuff here from now on, hopefully some stuff that’s also worth wasting time on. I want to thank Sean Rivers for building this web page for me!!!!

At the moment I am in Breckenridge, Colorado riding. It feels good to be back in the Northern Hemisphere winter.
